Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: September 22, 2025
Last updated: September 22, 2025
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how Cairnline Ventures ("Cairnline," "we," "us," or "our") handles payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and credits for consultations, sprints, and partnerships purchased through cairnline.com or by invoice. This Policy is designed for clarity and to set fair expectations before any work begins.

1. General Rule
All purchases are final and non-refundable. We invest time and capacity in advance to prepare for your session or project. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be waived by law.

2. Consultations
-
Booking. Payment confirms your booking and reserves capacity.
-
Cancellations. Fees are non-refundable. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you may request one reschedule within 30 days of the original date, subject to availability.
-
Late changes or no-shows. Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are charged in full and are not eligible for rescheduling or credit.
-
If we cancel. If we cancel, you may reschedule at the earliest available time or request a credit.

3. Project Sprints
-
Deposits. A 50 percent deposit becomes non-refundable upon contract signature or when a kickoff date is set, whichever comes first.
-
Post-kickoff. All fees are non-refundable once work begins.
-
Rescheduling. You may request to shift the schedule once with at least 5 business days notice. New dates depend on capacity.
-
If we cancel. If we cancel before kickoff, you may reschedule or receive a credit for the deposit. If we cancel after kickoff, we will apply a pro-rata credit for unused work.

4. Long-Term Partnerships and Retainers
-
Monthly fees. Retainer fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once the billing period starts.
-
Notice to pause or end. Provide at least 30 days written notice to end or pause at the end of a billing month.
-
Unused hours. Unused hours do not roll over unless we agree in writing. Any rollover is at our discretion and must be used within 30 days.

5. Digital Products and Downloads
If we offer digital products such as templates or guides, all sales are final due to instant access. If you accidentally purchase the same item more than once, contact us within 7 days for an exchange or credit.

6. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If there is an issue, contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes filed without prior contact may delay resolution. We reserve the right to suspend access or cancel future services while a dispute is pending. We will contest chargebacks we believe are improper.

7. Credits
Credits are applied to future Cairnline services and expire 6 months after issuance unless we state otherwise in writing. Credits are not cash and are not transferable without our consent.

8. Taxes and currency
Prices are shown and charged in United States dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes will be added as required by law.

9. Force Majeure
If a session or project is disrupted by events outside either party’s reasonable control, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or apply a fair pro-rata credit for the portion of work not performed.

10. Legal Rights That Still Apply
Nothing in this Policy affects rights that cannot be limited by contract under applicable law. Where a refund is required by law, we will process it to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after approval.
